About the Board

The Southeast Region's Local Workforce Investment Board (LWIB) complies with the State's Workforce Investment Act (WIA) by having at least 51 percent of its members from private businesses.

Additional membership of the LWIB consists of representatives from education, rehabilitation services, public assistance agencies and public employment services.
